What I really hated: The abrupt ending

I don't understand why everyone thought it sucked... and how the actors and actress were terrible. I don't speak mandarin but I thought she did a very good job and was a very good empress, only thing that bothered me was that i couldn't read the subtitles in time. I thought over all it was a very touching and worth while movie.

What I loved most: Pretty visuals

What I really hated: Kelly Chen's mandarin

Quite a pretty movie to watch, but poor actress and script. Couldn't help laughing throughout the show at the hilarious lines whenever any of the characters spoke. Save the money for another movie, just rent the VCD/DVD when it is out.

What I loved most: the beautiful backgrounds in the scenes and the gruesome fightings

i had thought it was just another fighting old show. bud it wasnt. there were scenes when i felt that i wld be at a spot as to wad decisions to make as the empress. touching and romantic. thumbs up!

What I really hated: Should get a better group of acter and actresses

Its a love story with a war scene as back ground. I like the story, being caught between two option. To rule as what other expected you to, or to live a life as what you wanted. The decision always affect others then oneself. Anyway Leon and Kelly look like they just had their biotox treatment. Donnie as usual, cool and mean fighting machine. Would someone give them some speaking lesson! Still a good movie to watch, good war scene, a bit too short. But do not expect a happy ending.
