"Big Blue Lake" is a story of love, family, and the changes that transpire in people and places. Cheung Lai Yee (Leila Kong) is an ambitious young girl who decides to leave her hometown of Ho Chung Village in order to pursue success in the theatrical world. However, a few years later, when she has experienced nothing but failures, she returns to her roots where she finds that everything had changed.
