What I loved most: The script. The story! superb!
What I really hated: unfortunately. nothing! well i actually hate when they can me my cry in the movie theatre
i love how the director linked one story to another. and of course the script and the storyline. i think this movie is real. it is somehow represent what actually happen in our life. Love is part of life. and i cried. okay! i tried to hold my tears all the way. but then. when the scene where haris(shidi) and lisa(daughter) talked in the car. its a simple line. but the emotion.. wheewww!!. i mean, everybody who's in the theatre went silent. i think they all tried to control their emotions. huhu. and i lost. i broke my tears at the scene where they step outside, haris sent his daughter to his wife and the camera focus at little lisa who's crying. damn! kesian budak tu! i always felt sorry for kids from a broken family. then dhani (que haidar) and dyan (nanu), has their own conflict. it does hurt you when you love somebody but that somebody seems so far away yet close. and i love this line "Kadang-kadang orang yang paling kita sayanglah, paling susah untuk kita sayang" true indeed. and then there goes the inner failure thingy where dyan donates her organ to her beloved brother. and amin (ngasri) and cikgu ilyas(dato' rahim razali) who's dealing with azhemeir *i dunno how to spell it* its something like what drew barrymore in 50 first date experienced. he forgot everthing he did yesterday. azlan-azura, taufik-arianna. for me its just a common scene where you can find it in most malaysian drama. but the script and the acting was damn good! im gonna watch again. and this time, i'll try not to cry. =p "Sehari bersama dengan orang yang kita sayang walaupun susah, adalah lebih baik dari seumur hidup bersama dgn org yang kita tak sayang"

What I loved most: Re-intreperation of Everyday Love
What I really hated: Maybe the candle light dinners
I always believe that love is universal, crosses linguistics boundaries and of any culture. I have not seen "Love Actually" which some say "Cinta" is a byproduct of, but I think it's a rightfully good movie on it's own. It successfully defined how "grayish" cinta is, that love is not confined to romance between man and woman. 5 love stories, 10 individuals, showcases KL as the scenery, and I'm really impressed with the locations they managed to dig out, the swooping camera angles, soundtracks that complements it; definitely bobbing off the stereotypical Malaysian movie landscape. I definitely love the movie, it touched and left a mark, and made me shed a few tears, especially for the father-daughter scenes. I feel that the movie accomplishes a few things such as giving viewers the chance to experience a myriad of emotions, of lovely desperation, solitude, happiness and of hope. I love the trains, the shade of colors of the scenes, places in KL i never knew existed, the soundtrack the tells us more about the scene, the dirty river in one scene with cows moving about. A must watch, hats off people.
