What I loved most: 'unconditional love' theme
What I really hated: ...Airin's decision to leave Harris
it was the big-bang promo through out the nation that brought me to watch it. well, either that, or because i wanted to see how good Mie's twin can act. it made me cry; so it was worth watching. maybe i kinda have a presumptive thoughts about it mimicking tinseltown's last Xmas 'Love; Actually'that brought down the excitement. if itwas original, i cud've given more credit. of course, seing an old man with Alzheimer really made me thought of my arwah Tok Mat. yeah, the best 'love' story wud be Rubiah + Cikgu elias.2nd: Dyan + Dhani. the rest, i consider the typical love stories of men+women. newayz, do watch it. it's good to de-stress a long week..

What I loved most: The scene when Rashidi holds her daughter crying because the wife left him.Loved the scene, love the
What I really hated: Nothing tht I hate in this movie.
It is such a touching movie. I cried in the middle of the story till the end. I love the story about 'Rita and Rashidi' and the story of 'Fatimah Abu Bakar' and 'Dato' Rahim Razali'. To me, these two stories is really about the real life situation eventhough no doubt the rest really reflect the way of our life. But these two stories really give a great impact to me. Especially the old couple because I realise, to love someone is not just because 'I like u, U like me'...but it is actually the sense of careness and responsibilty that comes along with it. If you love someone is because of the person despite of whatever weaknesses that the person have.Accept he/she as what the person is. It also taught me that, loves as well comes with responsibility. As in 'Rita and Rashidi' story's...it touched me because it is difficult to find a husband today who could loves you like the way he did in the movie.Be grateful with what you have and appreciate the person who loves you. My favourite lines: ' Bukan senang utk kita sayang org yg paling kita sayang'. Such a deep meaning and I agree with it. Another line that I like: ' ......because little girl taught me to love you is to letting you go.' Above all of these...it is such a great Malay movie.Congratulations!!!!

CINTA has the elements of great story telling - love that trancend all walk of life which works well with our muti-facet society. It uplifts the idea of love exist in many forms i.e sacrifice, unconditional, siblings, is rarely potrayed in modern films. Kudos to the great effort! Great directorial debut and cinematoraphy (capturing both urban and rural feel of KL). However putting 5 stories may have put a toll on some stories and its character development. The ones that have better premise for more story-development are the married couple (rashidi, rita), siblings (que, nanu). Dato' Rahim, Fatimah, Rashidi (telling his story to Nanu at building site), Fasha and Nanu (looking at couple at traffic light) has all put up great performances. Rita and Eizlan have shown their hidden talents in this movie, albeit not consistently shown in some scenes (i.e. sending daughter to front gates, press conference) Amani on the other hand do not show her natural acting strength- previously seen in SEPET & GUBRA. ...then again i'm just a medic doctor with no 1st hand experience in movie industry. oh btw, that small girl can really act huh!
