What I loved most: Both Main Actors Performed Well
What I really hated: I'm Not Much of a Romantic Movie Fan
Movie nie kira ok jugak. Taklah teruk sangat. Pada pendapat saya, tak salah kalau kita nak ciplak movie dari Korea ke atau mana-mana negara lain pun asalkan movie tu boleh bagi ratingnya naik. Not bad. Keep it up. Harap ada sambungan untuk movie nie

Two terminally ill patients decide to forego treatment so that they can go out on dates with each other, thinking that neither will live long enough to experience romance properly.
"Cintaku Forever" is a romance drama about playboy Joe and the mysterious Flora. Joe meets Flora in a hospital and decides to get himself warded to find out more about her. After a funny sequence of events, the two fall in love as Flora forces Joe to change his old ways. However, when Joe is diagnosed with brain cancer, he becomes withdrawn and tells no one about it. Flora assumes that Joe isn't sincere and that he is going out with her out of pity. She shuns Joe but he - in an act of bravado - decides to pledge his undying love and kidney to Flora who suffers from kidney failure.
How would this tale of star-crossed lovers end? Will they finally come to their senses and get the treatment they need to live out this romance? Or will they end up vegetables in a romantic scene of death and love professions? I really cannot say.
"Sekarang, bukan sahaja hatimu di diriku... tetapi ginjalmu juga." Alas, if only we were blessed with such original lines! If you enjoy cliched romance movie lines, then you will have a field day with this one. It comes complete with "Your heart is in mine", "I will forever be by your side", "I'll love you forever" and even "although my cancer is messing with my brain, the memory of you will never fade from my heart."
I am sad to report that our Yusry of KRU is completely upstaged by his Indonesian co-stars, not only by the female lead Revalina S. Temat but also those playing smaller roles. For example, the co-stars, and even the secondary cast who plays nurse Tini, provide humorous and interesting roles. Yusry is not as convincing as he should be.
Revalina outshines Yusry because she exudes more star power and screen chemistry. She also brings the same performance as she did on the TV series, "Bawang Putih, Bawang Merah" which has become a hit in both Malaysia and Indonesia. In the scene where Yusry declares: "I will love you forever, Flora", Revalina responds with a moving and emotion-filled performance.
The camera angles can be rather horrendous. In one scene where Joe's buddy, Jun, amusingly confesses his love for Din, her facial expression wasn't captured. The camera caught only half of Jun's face with only the top of Din's cap protruding into the screen. However, some scenes are well shot with stunning waterfall backgrounds. Still, none of these matter because it is hard to get through the cringe-inducing dialogue and appreciate this movie's smaller charms.
This movie is a typical TV melodrama obsessed over by housewives.
