Bryan Singer ("X-Men") takes on a very different approach in this modern fairytale of gigantic proportions. Peace has long reigned over men and the giants, until one day, a young farmhand (Hoult) unwittingly unlocks a gateway between the human world and the fearsome giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land that they were drove out of, forcing Jack into a battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess (Tomlinson), he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legends and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
