The trailer might have caught you with each alphabetic letter of M.O.T.H.E.R represented for. After watching several positive reviews, I had decided to watch the show in first instance. I would not say it was a great movie as personally, I felt the story was simple and lack of originality. But the mum unconditional love for her retarded child was the focus point and it was neither much moving nor much mysterious subtance in the whole show. And it was much manipulation of the director, Bong Joon-Ho own threatrical display. And, especially the dance step and movement displayed by the hysterical mum. Honestly, it did keep to my seat in finding out the truth. The female leading cast performance was compelling and convincing in searching for every single possible clue to prove the innocence of her child. Again, the slow pace settling seems neturalizing the thrill and the empathy for the whole show. A little disppointment was the film could have been rated as M( Mature) theme instead.
