What I loved most: Best fight scenes
What I really hated: Ryan McCarthy, the cocky and arrogant guy in the movie!
This is a movie about family, friendship, love and mixed martial arts. This movie tells a story about Jake Tyler who study in his new high school in Orlando came across a underground fight club in his school. He know a beautiful girl called Baja Miller and was invited by her to her boyfriend Ryan McCarthy's house. Ryan challenge Jake to a fight and was beaten up badly by Ryan. Jake's buddy Max introduced him to a gym to learn martial arts from a instructor Jean Roqua. Jake learn to control his temper and emotions when learning martial arts. When Max was beaten up badly by Ryan, Jake was forced to fight Ryan in a final fight for his friend, love and family. It is really a movie with a good story and realistic mixed martial arts! It is entertaining and worth watching it!

I think this movie is mostly for guy's kind of movie.Anyway this movie is about a guy angry with his past as he feel responsible for his father's death.he was then moved to Orlando.on his first day he was duped into a fighting a guy who beat him up.He went into fights until he went to train in a gym.He learn to keep his anger in check .He don't want to fight until his buddy was beat up by the guy.he fight not for fighting to fighting for the respect.it's not only the student learning but the gym leader also learning how to fight their own battles.

Ok, who thinks we need another cliche Bloodsport type of movie again? I caught this movie and was pleasantly surprised. With a slight hint of cheesiness, this movie actually is not so bad. It doesn't hurt that the 2 main male contenders didn't look too bad and with a babe in tow, great chreograped action scenes and Djion Houson, Never Back Down was entertaining and enjoyable. With a predictable story and ending, only if you appreciate the work and action scenes put into this show, will you enjoy it. Nice soundtrack as well. Believable action scenes but if bloody sport makes you queasy, try another show.
