When his hulking, icy, evil countenance brought shudders to the spines of the audience applauding "Fargo" (1996), many left the theater wondering and asking "Who was that guy?" Tall, with Nordic blond hair, Peter Stormare, who was teamed with Steve Buscemi as the kidnapping pair in "Fargo", is more than just "a guy". He is, in fact, a celebrated actor, director and playwright who had a fifteen-year association with Ingmar Bergman at the Royal National Theatre of Sweden. Stormare has also been a performer in international films since 1983 and a New York stage actor since he moved to the USA in 1992.
