19-year old Ah Loong is in charge of a stall selling pirated VCD's. Contrary to what you might expect someone of his social standing to be, Ah Loong is an incurable romantic with an unlikely hobby - he loves to read and write poetry. Quite content to carry on being the Romeo of the slums, Ah Loong's life takes a sudden turn one day when a 16-year old Malay schoolgirl arrives at his stall in search of Wong Kar-Wai's films.

What I loved most: The cinematography of the film and all of the actors & actresses!!!
What I really hated: None
Actually I really enjoyed to watch all films directed by Yasmin Ahmad's. Her first film I've watch is 'Rabun'- in tv . From that moment, I knew i've found the originallity in Malaysian's film. Before this, I will never ever watch Malay movie in cinema (I really hate to watch ALL the 'ala hindustan (singing & crying & hugging) scenes in Yusuf Haslam's film and also all the Professor Razak's film (almost liked Yusuf Haslam's film). But, after watch the Yasmin's film, I've start to love Malay's film. Thanks to Yasmin for the excellent job. I think it was very hard to find director like you!!
