Donnie Levine's (Sandler) fatherhood is headed for disaster like the Titanic, that's for certain. His affair with his father's high school teacher led to a pregnancy and thus, Donnie fathered a son at a young age. Todd (Samberg) barely knows his father, and has no desire to know Donnie, much less on the eve of a momentous occasion; his wedding. The same can be said for his fiancee (Meester), however, no matter how hard he tries, his scheming father refuses to leave, and all hell soon breaks loose now that the father and the bride are at each others' throats.
