Based on the 2008 historical novel of the same name by Matt Bondurant, "The Wettest County in the World" tells the story of three brothers during the Depression in rural Virginia, who made a living bootlegging moonshine. However, the Bondurant brothers soon face troubles when the authorities catch on to them and demand a cut of their profits or face arrest.
