Drummer Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson) still can't get over the fact that his now-famous band kicked him out 20 years ago. He wanted the fame and the glory but more than anything he wanted the rock 'n' roll life. Now Fish is given a 'second' chance of a lifetime to embark on a new tour with a young band. Despite his new gig, he remains a throwback to the 80s - tight leather pants, corny pick-up lines and all. Can audiences embrace this eccentric drummer and can his band accept his wild rock 'n' roll ways?
