The tall, blond actor Thomas Haden Church went from playing the lovable yet intellectually clueless Lowell Mather on the NBC sitcom "Wings" to portraying bright young executive who makes a marriage of convenience on the Fox sitcom "Ned and Stacey," then scored a mid-career boost years later with his amusing portrayal of a randy bridegroom in "Sideways." Church moved to California after stints as a radio disc jockey and commercial voice-over actor for in Texas.
