What I loved most: Simple story, well told, great characters, great animation
What I really hated: May need multiple viewings to see the fully appreciate its greatness
One of the best SciFi ever. How Pixar keeps churning out gems like this is a miracle in itself. Never thought that a movie with so little dialog would be so memorable.

What I loved most: Cute stuff
What I really hated: Nothing to "wow" about
One of the most disappointed Pixar animated movies. It really bring down the standard of the animated movies. Was in the cinema with a lot of kids (obviously) and they were all excited for the first 10 mins and that's it! It's so unusual for kids to be so "behaving" in a children movie like Wall-e. The storyline doesnt suit the kids as requires some thinking (e.g why are the humans sitting on the floating chair?). As compared to Finding Nemo, Wall-e gets my thumb down.

What I loved most: Storyline and the underlying meaning
What I really hated: Nothing. I love every minute of it
Pixar and Disney have definitely combined and synergised to their fullest potential yet, with Pixar's strength in 3-D animation and Disney's ability to touch your heart with wonderful story telling. What sets this animated movie apart from the rest is it's ability to convey the message of love through machines ( are not they incapable to convey and understand love in most movies?) and sometimes, expressing it without spoken words through gestures is the best way( Wall.E and his love interest Eve communicated with the bare minimum of words ). Their love simply touched your soul and at least make me have that ' awww..' moments.Story-wise the underlying 'go green' and 'save the earth' meaning is a powerful yet subtle enough to awaken viewers who see the need to save our planet before it becomes what the movie have predicted with rubbish piling up taller than skyscrapers and eventually inhabitable for life. Animation wise, Pixar maintained it's usual high animation standards. There are many notable and memorable scenes most of which , no surprises for guessing, are the romantic love sequences the plain old 'old fashion' braving through the weathers for your loved ones and an interesting , touching and enchanting love dance of Wall.E and Eve is simply a delight to watch. Lastly, do sit through the credit rolls where the story unveils itself further. In conclusion,Wall.E is definitely worthy of a 5 star performance!

What I loved most: It's pro-life message
What I really hated: none really
It didn't bowl me over with enchantment the way the old Disney animated movies did but it came close. Almost came close to matching E.T. and A.I. too! It's one of those movies that gets you up there and you leave the theatre in a happy stupor. Even stayed for the closing credits cos the cartoonish hieroglyphics told a story too - of happy endings! And you have to forgive it for scientific inaccuracies - afterall, it's a cartoon and make-believe! True to the Disney tradition, it doesn't have to be always real. The movies are where you go to escape the humdrum realities of life, its where you go to be happy! The movie makes for an interesting study though - it has a deeper message for those interested to dwelve into it. A clever satire dressed in innocence and charm makes for much easier digestion. But here I stop so as not to rob the reader of viewing pleasure. Indeed a movie with a wide-ranging appeal - go see!
